Sex Therapy

Sex therapy is a form of counseling intended to help individuals and couples resolve sexual difficulties (i.e. performance anxiety or relationship problems). Ashley is trained to work with a variety of sexual issues within the individual or the couple. It can be difficult to talk about sexual issues, but sex is a part of our human experience. Ashley works hard to ensure her client’s feel comfortable and know they have permission to discuss these delicate issues. It is important to note that sex therapy does NOT involve any physical contact or sexual activity among clients and therapists. Sex therapy is just a very specific form of talk therapy.

Common sexual health issues include but are not limited to:

  • Sexual Desire
  • Premature Ejaculation
  • Delayed Ejaculation
  • Erectile Dysfunction
  • Vulvodynia (vulvar pain)
  • Dyspareunia (pain during intercourse)
  • Difficulty achieving orgasm
  • Sexual Dysfunction

Participants are taught how to navigate relationships and manage their own sexual health.
